Flexible Date Amendments at No Charge
We understand that travel plans evolve. You may amend your travel dates at no administrative charge up to 60 days before your departure, subject to lodge and park availability. We will work with you to find the best alternative, not charge you for the privilege of flexibility.

Commission-Independent Recommendations
Every lodge, property, and activity we recommend is selected on merit alone. We disclose all commercial relationships in writing at time of quotation. Any property where we receive an undisclosed incentive is disqualified from our portfolio entirely.

All air-inclusive bookings are protected by our IATA accreditation, ensuring your funds are safeguarded under internationally recognised financial protection standards. For non-air itineraries, we operate client funds in ring-fenced accounts separate from our operational finances.

What Clients Ask Before
Booking with Us

What happens if a lodge or activity is unavailable when I arrive?
We replace it immediately with an alternative of equal or superior value at no additional cost to you. You will be notified as soon as we are aware, and the replacement will be arranged before it affects your experience.
Are gorilla trekking permits guaranteed in my booking?
Yes. As an accredited UWA permit partner, we secure and confirm your gorilla trekking permits before we confirm your itinerary. You will have written permit confirmation prior to travel.
What if I need to cancel my trip due to illness or emergency?
Our full cancellation schedule is disclosed at quotation. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance and can advise on appropriate policies. In genuine emergency circumstances, we work with clients to find the most favourable possible outcome.
Can I communicate directly with my guide before departure?
Absolutely. Once your guide has been assigned — typically 3–4 weeks before travel — we encourage a direct introductory call or email exchange so you arrive knowing exactly who will be with you and what to expect.
Is my money safe if Roam Beyond were to face difficulties?
Client funds are held separately from operational accounts and are released to suppliers only upon delivery of services. Our IATA accreditation and UTB licensing provide additional regulated frameworks for client financial protection.
What vehicles do you use and how old is your fleet?
We operate a fully maintained fleet of Toyota Land Cruisers (4WD, pop-top safari configuration) and other suitable vehicles. All vehicles carry full first aid kits, communication equipment, and are serviced on schedule. Fleet details are available in your pre-departure documentation.
